Reviewers sometimes use terms or acronyms that have specific meaning. Some are derived from text messaging nomenclature, some from fan fiction, others have evolved from book or movie reviews. BBA – Term used by Torquere Press to indicate a ménage, either FFM or MMF

DNR – Did Not Read

EDJ – Evil Day Job, what some of us do to pay the bills, instead of reading or writing all the time.

GFY – Gay For You, a man thinks he is straight until he meets his One True Love, who is gay.

H/h – Hero and heroine pairing

HEA – Happily Ever After

HFN – Happy For Now

MPreg – male character gets pregnant

OOC – Out of Character, a character behaves in a way he/she would not be expected to behave based on character development

POV – Point of View

PWP – Plot? What Plot? Or, Porn Without Plot

QGB – Queer Gay Bellend (dickhead)

Slash – M/M

TSTL – Too Stupid To Live, describes a weak heroine who puts
herself in danger unnecessarily
